In 1973, Tom began catering with his chuck wagon when local ranches would ask him to cater a meal or special event. More than thirty years later, from the prestigious James Beard House in New York to vineyards in California, from Russia to the White House – and of course, right here in Buffalo Gap, TX – Perini’s chuck wagon style Texas cooking is a hit!

Whether your group is 20 or 2000, you can take pleasure in foods that Tom and his crew have taken all across the world at Perini Ranch Steakhouse or right in your own backyard! Each Perini Ranch catered event features customized menus and event planning. We work with every client to ensure that your party is perfect. From the most casual Texas BBQ to elegant and elaborate weddings, we take great pride in presenting signature menus, exceptional service, and all the Texas flair that Perini Ranch is known for.

Parties in the Steakhouse

If you would like to have a party inside the steakhouse, Perini Ranch Steakhouse is available on Mondays and Tuesdays. The steakhouse seats 92 (utilizing both dining rooms), and the outside patio, open during warm weather, seats an additional 80 guests.

On Ranch Catering

There are two outdoor catering areas adjacent to the steakhouse that can easily accommodate almost any size gathering. Under the shade of century-old Live Oak trees, and with the incredible starry skies, a specially prepared Perini Ranch meal, and a little dancing on our old-fashioned cement dance floors, will guarantee an event to remember!

Off Ranch Catering

Perini Ranch will bring our unique ranch atmosphere and unbeatable food to you. With over 30 years of catering experience, we have traveled as far away as Japan, promoting Texas beef and serving "Real Texas Food." We will bring to you the chuck wagons, mesquite wood, cowboys and of course, exceptional food. We will customize your menu to fit your specific needs.
