Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, service-oriented, and detail-driven Store Manager to lead the daily operations of the Perini Ranch Country Market. This individual will be responsible for creating a seamless guest experience, managing a small team, overseeing inventory and merchandising, and working closely with the ownership to maintain the spirit and standards of the Perini brand. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a small, boutique retail environment rooted in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the store to ensure an exceptional guest experience aligned with Perini Ranch’s hospitality standards.
Hire, train, and manage a small team of part-time and seasonal employees.
Manage inventory, receiving, stocking, and assist in the ordering of products including homeware, barware, gourmet foods, and vintage toys.
Develop and execute visually appealing merchandising strategies that highlight seasonal themes and entertaining ideas.
Plan and support in-store events and promotions that reflect the store’s ethos of community and celebration.
Oversee cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and ambiance.
Qualifications
3+ years of retail management or boutique hospitality experience; background in lifestyle, gourmet, or specialty retail a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills; able to motivate and manage a small team effectively.
High level of attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and customer experience.
Comfortable working weekends and holidays, especially during seasonal or event-driven periods.
Passion for entertaining, food, hospitality, and storytelling through merchandise.
Experience with POS systems, inventory software, and basic reporting tools.
